This painting was created live at Artlando. My inspiration for this piece was the Hurricane season that had just ravaged the Caribbean Islands. I like, So many had not heard from loved ones. My Grand Mother lives on one of the Islands and I has not heard about her well being and this piece shows that reflection and how so many of us were affected emotionally.

This Abstract was created Using 5 different layers of Acrylic Medium (Gesso, Heavy Gel, Modeling paste, Matte Gel and Gloss Super Heavy Gel) over 3 days to complete painting. The goal of this painting was to attribute each color with absolutes and no Gradations in color. Great care was taken to create a moving and over lapping feel of Black on White or White on Black with no Grays.
